We find in- 2Peter- Ch.2- "But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them-bringing swift destruction on themselves.

ReplyDeleteMay the force be with you! We do live in an age of seeing more and more of these false teachings. No wonder why more people are confused. Reading the above scripture I read many times before the word secretly jumps out makes me want to go back over the bible with a fine tooth comb or magnifying glass. Or turn up the volume on my Ipod :-) & introducing the destructive new opionions. Will admit I keep checking on myself regularly. To make sure I don't get carried off with the pack of wolves. I wonder why the mission of some are so severe?
Like the subject of heaven or hell? or Jesus died for everyone so go and live like the devil? deception planned and they fell for it hook,line and sinker. Good word enforcer be back to blog again.

ReplyDeleteAmen on the force!. It is a shame that we are seeing more and more of it. Confusion only comes from Satan and he is the father of lies to boot. Jesus did warn us to be wise as a serpent but harmless as doves. And wolves in sheeps clothing is what I'm sure your relating to. I would think why some are so severe is they are operating out of fear, what you don't understand of the unknown can bring a person into that and instead of dealing with it, they come up with a false teaching that makes the world seem better. Jesus doesn't want us fearful but to understand he had to deal with the problem head on, as should we.
On heaven and hell should be a new subject on the blog and also on is everyone going to heaven? It's about making a decision,not on re-writing the bible.

ReplyDeleteWow! I just searched about False prophets and teachers. After sorting through alot of still unanswered guestions I had, you summed it up in what? a small paragraph? I assume your very educated or have prayed for wisdom dealing with this subject. I would guess you are a male. I will stay tuned also ,want to hear your thoughts on your next postings.

Hi Julie, No I'm not a male but a female:-) So glad to know that it helped you. I believe it's all so simple, but people are the ones that make it hard. Religions as it is stated in the bible is puffed up-religions makes their own rules and ritualistic ideas. That was the first thing that Jesus called them out on the carpet on. Jesus is the ONLY way to make it in. Religion won't get you in, your good deeds won't get you in. It's about believing on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. ONLY one mediator between God and Man and that is Jesus Period.
